PURE POLITEF® O RINGS First usage of O Ring has begun in the middle of 19th century with choosing moulding material as segments at vaporous pistons and as non-leakage elements at piston mills. Naturally, big problems have been experienced during providing non-leakage with such a stiff and hard material. Afterwards, due to solution of such a problem, the necessity of an elastic material has become a must and rubber has been used at engineering for the first time. The usage of rubber at enginnering has constituted basis in the development of O Ring.
